Ginny Banks is a photographer and mixed media artist. She received an MFA in Visual Design from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia and an MFA in photography from Clemson University in South Carolina. Ginny has 15+ years experience as a graphic designer and has been teaching for 6 years. She has taught graphic design at Clemson University and The Art Institute of Seattle as well as photography at Clemson University, Greenville Technical College, Bellevue College and Path with Art, an organization that brings art classes to people in recovery. As a volunteer, she has photographed people for Real Change and Recovery Café. Her pro bono work for Bridges to Understanding includes teaching kids how to use digital media to share their stories globally. Currently, she pursues her passions: teaching, fine art and documentary photography, collage and assemblage. She lives in Seattle.
